Parts of the lodge were lovingly restored from 2018 to 2019 - the new spa area provides relaxing moments after exciting game drives. Explore the Kyambura Gorge on tracks of the chimpanzee population settled here. The approximately 2-3 hour guided tours provide a wealth of information and let you discover the natural habitat of the chimpanzees under expert guidance.

Activities

In addition to the aforementioned chimpanzee tracking tours, classic early morning and dusk game drives await you as guests of Kyambura Gorge Lodge. Look out for lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalos and antelopes. Another highlight is the boat trips on the Kazinga Channel, which provides habitat for diverse bird species and numerous drinking and bathing spots for the park's resident wildlife. Away from the safari activities, you can look over the shoulders of the locals as they process freshly harvested coffee beans and taste the locally produced coffee and purchase it as a souvenir. Back at the camp, the outdoor pool with sun terrace invites you for a relaxing swim.
